Archuleta School District Schools Closed During Standoff
PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Every school in the Archuleta School District was closed on Wednesday because of a standoff in Pagosa Springs.
The superintendent called off school while police in Pagosa Springs engaged in a standoff with a suicidal man.
The standoff had been going on since Tuesday and ended Wednesday just after 11 a.m. The standoff was resolved after 27 hours.
The man showed a weapon after a traffic stop. Police backed off and finally arrested the suspect.
