Andy Janovich Scores Touchdown On First NFL Carry

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Broncos rookie fullback Andy Janovich scored a touchdown on his first NFL regular season carry.

With 12 minutes and 23 seconds left in the second quarter against the Carolina Panthers Thursday night, the Broncos were driving on their third offensive possession when quarterback Trevor Siemian handed off to Janovich.

Janovich broke through the pack at the line of scrimmage, broke a tackle and sped into the endzone for the Broncos first score of the season. The 28-yard rush came after two nice runs earlier in the drive by starting running back C.J. Anderson.

That brought the score of the game to Carolina 7, Denver 7.

The Broncos drafted Janovich out of Nebraska with their sixth pick in the NFL Draft last spring.
