Activists Rally In Denver For Immigration Reform
DENVER (CBS4) - The shutdown in Washington isn't stopping the call for immigration reform.
On Saturday in Denver activists took part in a National Day of Dignity and Respect. It was one of 140 demonstrations across the country.
The activists are demanding Congress pass comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship.
The Senate passed a sweeping measure in June but the bill stalled in the GOP led House.
