Aurora Man Faces Manslaughter Charge After Acquaintance Shot While Playing With Firearm
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A man is dead after allegedly playing with a firearm at an apartment complex in Aurora. It happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday at the Bella Terra Apartments.
Police arrested Abiel Vigil, 38, at the scene. Investigators say Vigil and an acquaintance were playing with a gun Vigil owned when it fired, shooting the victim in the chest. He died at the hospital.
Vigil was arrested for manslaughter and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
The victim has not been identified.
