5 Million Passengers Used DIA In August
DENVER (AP) - Denver International Airport managers say more than 5 million passengers traveled through the facility in August, making it the busiest August ever for the 16-year-old airport.
The August total was 2.3 percent higher than the same month a year ago.
More than 35.7 million passengers have used the airport from January through August, also a 2.3 percent increase over the same period a year ago.
The figures were announced Tuesday.
