2nd Person Now Faces Charges In Officer Sex Assault Case
DENVER (CBS4) - Police now say a woman faces sex assault charges along with a male Denver police officer who was arrested this week.
The alleged sex assault happened last month and involved a weapon.
Officer Davin Munk, 31, was arrested by his fellow officers after police interviewed a person they say was the victim in the case.
Angiella Arnot, 47, was also arrested. Police say she, like Munk, faces multiple counts of sexual assault stemming from the single incident that happened in Denver late last month.
Police have released few details about the case other than to say Munk knows the alleged victim somehow. They haven't stated what the relationship might be between Arnot and Munk.
Munk has several incidents listed in his Denver police disciplinary history, which the department shared with CBS4. He is currently suspended without pay.
Munk appeared in court on Wednesday and his bond was set at $650,000.
