200 Fort Carson Soldiers Return Home From Afghanistan
FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4) - Hundreds of soldiers are back home at Fort Carson. Their return was celebrated on Saturday.
The Mountain Post Held a welcome home ceremony for 200 members of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team. The troops deployed a year ago to Afghanistan serving for Operation Enduring Freedom.
The troops' primary mission was to help Afghan security forces.
