2 Inmates Die In 2 Days At Adams County Jail

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say two inmates died in as many days at the Adams County jail.

Sgt. Aaron Pataluna with the county sheriff's office says a 47-year-old inmate was found unresponsive in his cell at about 11 a.m. Tuesday, and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Investigators do not suspect foul play.

On Wednesday morning, a 46-year-old inmate was found unresponsive in the shower. His death is believed to have been a suicide.

Investigators have not released the name of either inmate.
