2 Hospitalized After Being Ejected During Crash On I-225 Near Parker Road
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Two people have been transported to the hospital after being ejected from an SUV during a crash Tuesday night.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened on southbound Interstate 225 near Parker Road just before 8 p.m.
Tire marks could be seen swerving from the middle lane and off the road. The car crashed through a fence, then traveled through a meadow before coming to a stop when it hit a tree in a nearby parking lot.
It's not clear how badly the two victims were injured.
Some lanes of I-225 had to be closed but have since reopened.
The state patrol is working to determine what caused the driver to veer off the road.
