150 Attend Obama Aspen Fundraiser With First Lady

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - About 150 supporters have attended a fundraiser in Aspen for President Barack Obama that featured an appearance by the first lady, Michelle Obama.

Supporters paid $1,000 or more to attend the event at the home of James Crown, managing partner of Aspen Skiing Co., and his wife, Paula.

The Aspen Times reports donors who paid $10,000 per couple attended lunch at the residence and got their photos taken with the first lady.

Michelle Obama addressed the crowd in a tent in the yard. After her remarks, she walked barefoot on the grass under then tent and mingled with supporters.

She didn't address the battle over raising the debt limit.
