1 person dead in Aurora house fire, another displaced
One person is dead after a house fire in Aurora. Aurora Fire Rescue crews rushed to the burning home in the 12600 block of East Bates Circle just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
According to investigators, one adult victim was located during "fire suppression operations" and was declared dead.
Another adult who was not injured but displaced in the fire and one dog was rescued and taken to an animal hospital for treatment.
What caused the fire is being investigated.
