1 Killed In Western Colorado Plane Crash

DELTA, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say one person has died in the crash of a single-engine plane in Delta County in western Colorado.

Undersheriff Mark Taylor says the crash was reported Friday shortly after 5 p.m.

The identity of the victim and the exact location of the crash haven't been disclosed. Taylor didn't say if anyone else was aboard the plane.

Delta, the county seat, is about 40 miles southeast of Grand Junction.
