U.S. forces seize oil tankers linked to sanctioned Venezuelan oil

The U.S. is targeting the so-called “shadow fleet” of ships that illegally transport oil from sanctioned nations like Russia, Iran, and Venezuela. The moves follow the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and claims the U.S. also wants to control Greenland.
