Storm cleanup continues a day after winds knocked out power to thousands
Thousands of ComEd customers are still in the dark after Monday's storms. At last check, nearly 15,000 are still without power, most of them in Cook County. ComEd plans to have the majority of people back online by Wednesday afternoon, but that means many people will be left without air conditioning amid sweltering heat.
