Sisters create UPF clothing brand inspired by mom's skin cancer battle

Before the age of 70, one in five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer, according to The Skin Cancer Foundation. For two Chicago area sisters, that statistic hit close to home when their mom was diagnosed with melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, about a decade ago. They turned that health scare into inspiration to create a sun-protective fashion brand.
