Senate passes $9 billion spending cuts package

The Senate passed President Trump's rescissions bill, clawing back about $9 billion of previously approved funding for foreign aid and public broadcasters, PBS and NPR. The bill now heads back to the House, where it faces a Friday deadline for a final vote before reaching the president's desk.
