Lung cancer survivor shares story, urges importance of screenings

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in Illinois. It's also the third most common form of cancer in the state, according to data from the Illinois Department of Public Health. A recent report from the American Lung Association also found Black men and women are diagnosed at higher rates.
