Lightfoot defeats bid to raise speed camera ticket threshold

A push for changes to Chicago's speed camera rules was defeated in City Council. With a 26-18 vote, aldermen kept the 6 mph threshold for tickets in place, voting down a bid to raise the threshold back to its original 10 mph.
