Chicago snow storm: city plows focused on clearing main streets
The Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation has deployed its full fleet of 287 salt spreaders to plow and salt the city's main streets and DuSable Lake Shore Drive during the start of Friday's major winter storm. Streets and San Commissioner Cole Stallard described the city's strategy for fighting the snow as a chess match.
