Chicago health officials track heat illnesses to help inform heat wave responses
The Chicago Department of Public Health has been actively tracking heat illness visits to hospitals and emergency rooms, so they can be proactive with demographics and in areas of the city that are particularly vulnerable during heat waves like the one this week.
