Book addresses discrimination against Black women in gynecological care

Numerous studies exploring Black women’s experiences in health care involve being ignored or unheard in the doctor’s office. Such experiences inspired former Northwestern Medicine resident Dr. Kemi Doll to write the book, “A Terrible Strength: The Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb and Your Survival Guide to Healing.” Dr. Doll joins Audrina Sinclair.
