Annual Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos kicks off

Tuesday begins the traditional celebration of Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead. It's celebrated in Mexican culture, with ofrendas - altars to family members, and prayers for those who have passed away but live on in our memory. Cesar Moreno, chief curator at the National Museum of Mexican Art, explains more about the holiday.
