$1.5 billion in medical debt being erased from people in Cook County
More medical debt is being wiped out in the Chicago area. On Tuesday, Gov. JB Pritzker, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, and other leaders announced $1.5 billion in medical debt forgiveness for people in Cook County.
