A 38-year-old man was fatally shot about 6:40 p.m. in the South Shore neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.
The latest shooting happened about 10:50 p.m. in the University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side.
The latest homicide happened Sunday evening in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a man was killed and another was critically wounded in the Far South Side Fernwood neighborhood.
The most recent fatal attack happened early Tuesday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
About 11:25 p.m., a 41-year-old man was killed and a woman was injured in a drive-by shooting during a barbecue in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Most recently, a 21-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting on the West Side.
"We're praying with the youth and for the youth," said Dr. Donovan Price, who organized a march in Auburn-Gresham in honor of Tyshawn Lee.
The male victim was driving in the 6700 block of South Jeffery at 2:49 p.m. when someone in a dark SUV fired shots, police said.
The most recent fatal shooting was an 18-year-old man who was shot to death in West Englewood about 8:10 p.m., police said.
The Chicago Police Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating after a "grenade-like object" was found in a building being renovated in the South Shore neighborhood.
