It's hard not to look too far ahead. With the Bears having locked up the two-seed in the NFC, it's only natural to envision how far the Bears could go.
The Bears-Packers rivalry started in 1921, a 20-0 Bears' victory, and has resulted in 180 regular season matchups. According to LeRoy Butler, the rivalry changed when Lovie Smith was hired as the Bears' head coach.
There has been some debate as to whether or not the Bears' starters will play in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, and also if they should play.
Some quarterbacks take their lineman out to dinner after for keeping them protected during a game. Running backs have been known to buy their lineman watches after a 1,000-yard season.
Not as if the Bears-Packers rivalry needs any more intensity, but if the Packers were to beat the Bears on Sunday they would clinch a spot in the playoffs.
The Minnesota Vikings finally did something right this season. By beating the Philadelphia Eagles, the Vikings gave the Bears a guaranteed first round bye in the NFC Playoffs.
