Woman struck, killed by Amtrak train in Lemont identified

LEMONT, Ill. (CBS) -- A woman who was struck and killed by a train in suburban Lemont Saturday afternoon has been identified. 

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as 47-year-old Elizabeth D. Riegler.

According to the Lemont Police Department, the victim was struck by an Amtrak train at the intersection of Main Street and Stephen Street. 

No other injuries were reported. 

The incident is under investigation by Lemont Police, who say they are working with Amtrak. 

No further information was immediately available.
