Woman, 22, shot and killed in Chicago's Little Village community
A woman was shot and killed Saturday night in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.
Chicago police said at 8:43 p.m., the woman was standing outside on 23rd Street near California Avenue when she heard a loud noise and felt pain in her armpit.
The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she later died.
Harrison Area detectives were investigating Sunday. Further details were not released.
