White Sox Exercise 2012 Option On Frasor
(CBS) The White Sox exercised their 2012 club option on reliever Jason Frasor Monday.
The team acquired Frasor in a July trade with the Toronto Blue Jays and the right-hander went 1-2 with a 5.09 ERA in 20 games with the White Sox.
Under the terms of his contract, Frasor will earn $3.75 million next season.
The Chicago-native is 25-30 with a 3.74 ERA and 446 strikeouts in 475 career appearances over his eight major-league seasons.
