White Sox Cut 5 From Spring Training Roster
(CBS) The Chicago White Sox made five cuts from their spring roster after Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Catcher Kevan Smith was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte, and pitcher Michael Ynoa was optioned to Double-A Birmingham. Additionally, outfielders Adam Engel, Courtney Hawkins and infielder Andy Parrrino were sent to minor league camp.
The White Sox now have 44 players in their major league camp.
