(CBS) -- Cicero Police are investigating a fight that left two students stabbed and another beaten Monday afternoon, according to Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

Three students were walking on Laramie Avenue near 19th Street at around 3:15 p.m. when they were passed by a vehicle carrying two students, Hania said. Words were apparently exchanged and a fight began.

Two of the students received stab wounds and a third was beaten. All are being treated at local hospitals and officials say none of the injuries are life-threatening.

Police are investigating and do not have any information on any charges or additional suspects.
