CHICAGO (CBS)-- Police in the Loop are searching for the people who tossed a TV set and other items out their hotel window early Monday morning.

This happened around 3 a.m. at the Mariott Residence Inn on LaSalle Street. The street was empty so no one was hurt.

Police said a man and a woman ran out of the lobby right after it happened.

La Salle is closed between Madison and and Monroe.
