Scattered showers and storms blow into the Chicago area Tuesday evening and overnight.
A few storms could be strong, producing small hail and gusty winds.
Lows Tuesday night will be in the low to mid-50s.
Showers linger through Wednesday morning, and then an isolated shower is possible in the afternoon under a mostly cloudy sky.
Highs will be in the mid-70s, but staying in the 60s lakeside.
Thursday will dry with highs in the low 70s, but cooler in the 60s lakeside.
Another round of showers and storms are expected Friday. Highs will be in the 60s, but will be in the 50s near the lake.
It will be dry this weekend with highs in the mid-50s Saturday, but staying in the 40s lakeside. Conditions are warmer Sunday with highs in the upper 60s, but again expect cooler readings near the lake.
A stormy weather pattern returns by Tuesday, with highs in the 80s early next week.
