Theismann: Knox Moving To Another Level

NFL Network analyst Joe Theismann, who will call Thursday's Bears game in Miami, joined the Mully & Hanley Show Monday and praised wide receiver Johnny Knox.

"I think Johnny Knox is one of those really unknown young guys that's moving to another level in football," Theismann said. "I mean, he catches everything, he can run like the wind and he's fun to watch play football."

Theismann also weighed in on the Jay Cutler-Mike Martz marriage and said that while everyone wants instant results, fans have to remember that it takes time to get a system clicking. He also said Cutler is a lot better when he doesn't try to do everything on the field.

"You don't have to do everything," he said. "Guys want to try and do so much, but when you take that load on your shoulders, it doesn't really help your football team."
