The Del Negro era likely coming to an end shortly
The Tribune reports that Vinny Del Negro's departure from the Bulls remains imminent. Del Negro's pending dismissal has been reported since December, but a late season run that put the team in the playoffs may have delayed those plans. Del Negro reportedly had a meeting on Sunday with team owner Jerry Reinsdorf and his status as head coach will be decided upon over the next few days. The names of possible replacemets for Del Negro are already surfacing. Doug Collins, Lawrence Frank, Kevin McHale, Maurice Cheeks, Byron Scott, and Dwyane Casey are mentioned by the the Tribune.
