Teen Shot To Death In Back Of The Yards

CHICAGO (STMW) - A teenager died after being shot in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood early Saturday.
Someone shot the 17-year-old multiple times in the 4800 block of South Laflin Street about 3:15 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
The victim was identified as Ricardo Vasquez, 17, of the 4700 block of South Laflin St., who was pronounced dead at 3:57 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one was in custody early Saturday and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
