Sunny day ahead in Chicago with gusty winds

CHICAGO (CBS) — Following another day of mild temperatures and gusty winds on Friday, scattered showers return at times this weekend.

CBS 2 is tracking a weak storm system moving from the west. It will lead to mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and a few light rain showers. Most rain appears to fall during the afternoon, but rain will not wash out many outdoor plans.

Sunshine and breezy winds return on Sunday, and cooler weather briefly blows in on Monday. Next week will bring a significant warming trend and a few isolated thunderstorms.
