Sunday A.M. Pre-Game Bears vs. Bills
The roof will be closed here at the Rogers Centre. The rule is that the air temperature is below 50, then they keep the roof on. This will help with the kicking game. Bills kicker, Rian Lindell has been hitting pretty easily from 55 yards out with the roof closed. Bills punter, Brian Moorman has spent the majority of the warm-ups angle kicking out of bounds. Devin Hester has only 3 returns in his last 2 games. I doubt that the Bills will kick to him if they have a choice.
The inactives are out. It's official, Todd Collins is back to being the primary backup for Jay Cutler. Caleb Hanie is the designated 3rd Qb. Which means he's in uniform, but cannot play unless: The first 2 guys go down with injuries or it's the 4th quarter.
Here is the rest of the list: Craig Steltz, Kahlil Bell, Zack Bowman, Edwin Williams, Dez Clark, Corey Wootton and Marcus Harrison.
There are plenty of Bears fans who have made the trip. Lots of orange and blue in the stadium. It could feel like a home game. The local fans here in Toronto are ambivalent about the Bills and I'm curious how many Buffalo fans will make the 90 minute drive to see an 0-7 team. The Bills get an estimated 1o million dollars per contest in Toronto, but there will be plenty of seats unoccupied. The promoters of the game had to buy up the tickets that Bills fans didn't want to make sure the game was on television.
