Reward Offered For Info On Suburban Cash Register Thieves
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (STMW) - Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading ton two men who burglarized a west suburban store, stealing the cash register after failing to get it open.
Around 4:46 a.m. on Feb. 11, two men entered the Corner Pantry at 1801 Wehrli Rd. in Naperville by shattering the glass on the front door, according to a Crime Stoppers release.
The subjects tried to force open the register but couldn't get it open, so they took the entire register, along with rolls of coins valued at about $500.
The first subject is described as a white man with a medium build, wearing a black leather coat with blue shirt underneath, black gloves, black skateboard-type hat with red "Globe" emblem, and a bandanna on his face.
The second subject is described as a white man with a medium build, wearing blue jeans, a blue/gray hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored stocking cap, black boots and black gloves.
