Report: Zambrano To Make Rehab Start Friday
(CBS) Carlos Zambrano will make a rehab start Friday in Peoria, according to the Chicago Tribune's Paul Sullivan.
Zambrano left his June 30th start against the Giants with lower-back soreness. As has been well documented, he threw out the first pitch at a Chicago Bandits game that same night and was placed on the disabled list the next day.
The right-hander is expected to rejoin the team after the All-Star break according to the report.
