Bennett Fined $5,000 For Orange Cleats
(WSCR) Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett has been fined $5,000 by the NFL for wearing orange cleats in the Bears win over the Eagles on Monday.
Wearing the cleats violated the NFL's uniform policy.
"They were too orange, I guess," Bennett said Wednesday.
Bennett will not wear the orange cleats for this Sunday's game against the Lions, even though the Bears will wear their alternate orange jerseys.
