Rain returns to Chicago area on Thursday

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Rain returns to the Chicago area on Thursday.

Thursday morning will be sunny before showers return by midday. 

Thunderstorms are possible south of I-80 this afternoon, but overall severe weather is not expected. 

The rain will last through the evening before tapering off. 

Cool breezes arrive Friday with highs in the 50s. 

Saturday will be a cool day with chilly breezes.
