Proviso Township High School Teachers Postpone Strike After District's Latest Offer
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Teachers at Proviso Township High School District 209 have postponed plans for a strike, after the district increased its salary offer to the union.
The district is now offering a 7% raise over three years.
The union is seeking a 21% raise over four years.
We're waiting to see if the union will accept the new offer.
