Police: Man With Missing Fingers Attempted To Abduct Teen Girl In Skokie
(CBS) -- Skokie police are looking for a man with missing fingers, after he attempted to abduct a 13-year-old girl Tuesday afternoon, reports WBBM's Mariam Sobh.
Police say the man is missing two fingers on his right hand. He approached the girl near 4831 Golf Road as she was leaving Old Orchard Junior High, asking her for directions to a nearby restaurant. That is when he tried to pull her to his car.

The teen pulled out a string of padlocks from her bag, hit the suspect in the jaw and he fled the scene.
Police say the man is of a heavy build, 5'8" to 5'9" with black hair and spoke to the victim with an accent. He was wearing a two-toned blue jacket, blue jeans and brown boots and driving a small blue SUV/crossover.
