Police: Man Found Riddled With Bullet Wounds In Critical Condition
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man is in critical condition after police found him laying on a sidewalk in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood Monday night, riddled with bullet wounds.
Officers found the 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his face, neck, chest and arms in the 7500 block of South Carpenter Street on the South Side about 8:15 p.m., police said.
The man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where was in critical condition, police said.
A motive for the shooting remained unclear to police as Area South detectives investigated. No one was in custody early Tuesday.
