CHICAGO (STMW) - A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. in the 500 block of West Fullerton Parkway as the victims were walking west, police said.

Two suspects approached them from behind and one of them grabbed the man and held a cutting instrument to his throat and said, "Don't you f------ move,'' according to police.

One of the suspects grabbed the woman and yanked her purse from her arm and both attackers fled westbound.

Officers saw a small cut on the man's chin and he was treated on the scene by paramedics.

Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
