Piniella will miss San Francisco trip
As if the Cubs' performance wasn't hard enough on poor Lou Piniella, he's had some personal matters to deal with this summer. Lou has missed some games to attend his uncle's funeral earlier this summer. Now more bad news comes to the Cubs' manager.Piniella is scheduled to leave for Tampa after Sunday's game against the Reds to visit his mother in the hospital. We don't know how many games Lou will miss, but bench coach Alan Trammell will fill in during Lou's absence.
