Person Shot, Critically Wounded In Portage Park Shooting
(STMW) -- A Portage Park shooting early Saturday left a person critically wounded on the Northwest Side.
The male, whose age wasn't known, was shot in the chest at 12:10 a.m. in the 4000 block of North Laporte, police said, citing preliminary information.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition. Additional details were not immediately known.
