Person Dies In Fall At ISU
NORMAL, Ill. (CBS) – An individual suffered fatal injuries Sunday evening after falling from scaffolding outside a high-rise dormitory, Illinois State University officials said.
The incident occurred at the Watterson Towers dorm, which is undergoing renovations. No foul play was suspected, ISU spokesman Jay Groves said in a statement posted on Twitter.
The person who died was not a student, Groves said.
Campus police and the coroner's office were investigating.
