Pedestrian hit by Metra train in Bensenville, Illinois
A pedestrian was struck by a Metra train in the west Chicago suburb of Bensenville Thursday afternoon.
At 1:17 p.m., Metra reported that inbound Milwaukee District West train number 2236 struck a pedestrian near Church Road and Main Street in Bensenville.
Inbound and outbound Milwaukee District West trains were halted.
Information about the condition of the pedestrian was not immediately available.
