Munster, Ind. Buzzing Over Once-A-Year Brew

MUNSTER, Ind. (CBS) -- The father and two sons behind Three Floyds Brewery like heavy metal music and beer. They've taken the latter to another level as thousands clamored Saturday to buy a four-pack of Dark Lord imperial stout.

"It is sweet, it is delicious, it is wonderful," says Dark Lord enthusiast Bronson Eshleman.

Those were just a few of the adjectives dropped by the 6,000 patrons who each dropped $60 on four bottles of a beer sold for one day only.  Tickets for the event sold out in four minutes.

Three Floyds is a darling of the commoner and critic alike. The website RateBeer.com named it Best Brewery in the World in 2012, four years running.

"None of us got into brewing for global domination," Three Floyds V.P. Barnaby Struve says.

But it's turning out that way.
